FarshadAsl.com
FarshadAsl.com (the "Site") is operated by Top Leaders, Inc. ("Top Leaders," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Site and respond to you, and we treat subscriber information with respect and care.
When you send an inquiry (speaking or contact forms): your name, email address, organization (if provided), and the contents of your message. Submissions are delivered to us by email through our form provider (FormSubmit).
When you subscribe to Leadership Insights (our newsletter): your first name, email address, and — only if you choose to provide them — your last name and cell phone number. Subscriptions are processed and stored by Constant Contact, our email service provider. Your contact record there holds your subscription status, opt-in source, and opt-in date. On that same record we also store the details of the consent you gave: the version of the consent wording shown to you, the date and time you subscribed, and the form you used; a copy of that consent record is also kept in our Site’s private consent log. Your email address and subscription status alone are not the consent record — those stored details are. Providing a phone number is always optional, is never required to receive the newsletter, and does not enroll you in text-message marketing. We will not send marketing text messages without your separate, explicit consent.
Analytics: the Site does not currently use analytics services, and no analytics cookies are set when you visit. If we enable an analytics service in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe it, and, where consent is required, it will run only with your permission.
FormSubmit (inquiry delivery), Constant Contact (newsletter subscriptions and sending), Netlify (website hosting), and Microsoft 365 (our email). Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We choose reputable providers and limit what we send each one to what its service needs; some providers also process information for their own purposes, as their policies describe (as described in each provider's own privacy policy). Content we link to on other platforms (for example YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon, and Substack) is governed by those platforms' policies.
Inquiries. Inquiry messages are retained in our Microsoft 365 mailbox for 24 months after our last substantive correspondence with you, and then deleted by our office. The exceptions are an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation requiring longer retention. The systems covered are the mailbox that receives this Site's form submissions, which our form provider (FormSubmit) delivers by email. Two limitations, stated plainly: we do not control any retention within FormSubmit's own systems, and Microsoft 365 may keep deleted items in backup and recoverability windows for a limited period after we delete them, after which they are purged under Microsoft's terms.
Newsletter. While you are subscribed, Constant Contact retains your subscription record, including the consent details described in §1 (consent-wording version, timestamp, and source), and a copy of those details is kept in our Site’s consent log; we can provide them to you on request. Unsubscribing and deletion are handled differently:
An unsubscribed or deleted address is never re-added to our mailings without a new opt-in from you, submitted through the sign-up form on this Site. Each submission is verified individually: a previously submitted form cannot be reused or replayed to re-enroll anyone, and after a deletion request a suppression record blocks re-enrollment until a new sign-up through the form is completed.
Access to subscriber information is restricted to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reputable providers and limit access to what the work requires. We do not operate an SMS marketing program, and providing a phone number never enrolls you in one.
The Site is intended for adults and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions requiring a higher age).
If this policy changes materially, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
